Product Description
The U-43R installs in a single 900 Series module slot and brings an unbalanced auxiliary input to the host mixer-amplifier through RCA connectors. Its defining feature is a voice-activated muting control output, also called mute-send, which signals other modules to attenuate when audio is present at a priority input. In practice this lets background music play continuously and then duck automatically for paging, a common requirement in retail, hospitality, and transportation spaces. The RCA connectors make the module convenient for media players, tuners, and other consumer-grade sources that lack balanced outputs. Because the module conditions and controls the signal before the amplifier stage, integrators can build automatic priority behavior into a distributed audio system without external logic.
