Product Overview
The TOA U-03S is a plug-in auxiliary line input module with a removable terminal block and passive stereo summing for TOA 900 Series mixer-amplifiers. It is the terminal-block counterpart to the RCA-equipped U-03R, suited to permanent installs where pre-terminated, screw-down wiring is preferred. High-cut and low-cut filters allow tone shaping at the input.
Product Description
The U-03S accepts a stereo line source on a removable terminal block and passively sums it to the mono bus used by most commercial background-music and paging systems. The terminal-block connection is the practical choice for fixed installs, where conductors are landed on screw terminals and dressed for long-term reliability rather than relying on a plug. It installs into a TOA 900 Series host slot and is powered by 24 V DC from the main frame. The module is intended for adjacent line-level sources within roughly 15 feet, such as media players and tuners. Onboard high-cut and low-cut filters give the installer tone control at the input. Input sensitivity is adjustable across a wide range to set the source to the system reference level. Frequency response runs 20 Hz to 20 kHz with low noise and distortion. For hard-wired stereo sources feeding a mono distributed system, the U-03S is the matched aux input.
