Description

Installed in an EIA 1U rack space, the DT-940 CU provides reliable AM/FM broadcast reception for permanent commercial AV installations. Frequency synthesized digital tuning ensures stable, drift-free operation, while the multi-function digital display makes station identification clear at a glance. Auto-scan mode automatically detects and stores available stations in memory. Both FM stereo and AM monaural reception are supported, and a stereo audio output connects directly to mixer amplifiers or zone processors. An FM wire antenna and AM loop antenna are included in the box.

Can the DT-940 CU be integrated with a TOA mixer amplifier for zone distribution?
Yes. The DT-940's stereo audio output connects directly to any line-level input on a TOA mixer amplifier, such as the MA-725F or A-5006 series, enabling AM/FM to be one source in a multi-zone BGM system.

How does front panel lockout work?
When front panel lockout is enabled, station preset and tuning controls are disabled at the unit — only the connected control system or AM/FM source selection remains active. This prevents unauthorized station changes in public venues.

Does it support stereo output?
Yes, the DT-940 supports stereo FM output. AM broadcasts are monaural by nature.

What rack bracket is required?
The optional TOA MB-15B Rack Mounting Bracket is required for standard EIA rack installation. The unit does not ship with the bracket by default.
