Product Overview
The TOA BG-2480D-AM is a 480-watt, five-input mixer amplifier built for background music and general announcements across large commercial spaces. Its high-efficiency Class-D output drives 70V and 100V distributed speaker lines or 4-ohm low-impedance loads, making it a flexible core for multi-zone paging systems. A compact, lightweight chassis and removable terminal blocks speed installation in a conference room, house of worship, or multi-purpose facility. RCA jacks for Line 2 and Line 3 simplify connecting local sources.
Product Description
The BG-2480D-AM extends the established TOA BG series with a 480-watt digital amplifier output for larger paging and music zones. It accepts five inputs, including one balanced microphone input, one balanced line/telephone input, two stereo RCA unbalanced line inputs, and additional unbalanced line inputs, so a single unit can combine paging mics, telephone paging, and background music sources. Automatic or manual mute lets paging take priority over music, and front-panel bass and treble controls tune the system for the room. DIP switches configure music-on-hold output assignment per input, mute behavior, LINE 1/TEL level, and phantom power on or off. Removable input and output terminal blocks make wiring and service straightforward, and an external remote volume control input supports localized level adjustment. Accessory security covers protect the front volume knobs from accidental changes. For matching speakers and source equipment, browse the TOA mixer amplifier range at Creation Networks.
