Product Description
Even ceiling coverage with fewer devices is the goal in most commercial audio designs, and the F-1522SC is engineered to deliver it from a compact 4-inch footprint. The full-range 12 cm cone in a bass-reflex enclosure produces a wide frequency range of 65 Hz to 18 kHz, supporting both paging and background music. A built-in matching transformer offers selectable taps for 100 V, 70.7 V, and 25 V lines, so installers can balance many speakers across a constant-voltage system and add or rebalance them later. The wide 160-degree dispersion at typical voice frequencies means each speaker covers more floor area, reducing the count needed for uniform sound. The speaker mounts flush into ceiling panels up to 37 mm thick, giving a clean architectural finish. Designers specify it for offices, retail spaces, conference rooms, and multi-purpose rooms that need discreet, intelligible audio. Low-impedance 8- and 16-ohm operation is also available where a transformer is not used. The result is a versatile ceiling speaker that fits cleanly into distributed 70/100 V audio systems.
