Product Description
The PC-648R is a ceiling-mount loudspeaker built for 70 V and 100 V constant-voltage distribution systems, the standard architecture for commercial background music and paging. A 12 cm (5 in) cone driver with a ferrite magnet delivers clear speech and program audio, with a frequency response of 100 Hz to 18 kHz and 90 dB sensitivity. The integrated line transformer offers 1 W, 3 W, and 6 W taps, so designers can balance level zone by zone without changing amplifiers. Two spring clamps mounted on opposite sides of the baffle secure the speaker into a ceiling cutout for tool-light installation and service. The polypropylene baffle and steel grille in off-white (RAL9010) suit most commercial ceilings. Its shallow 77 mm depth fits tight ceiling and plenum cavities common in retrofit projects. The speaker pairs with TOA mixer amplifiers and is sold individually so integrators can order to exact zone counts.
