Product Description

The S-02S installs in a 900 Series module slot and is powered by the host frame's 24 V DC supply, keeping alert tones available directly within the rack. A switch closure across the module's terminals activates the buzzer tone, while a separate closure triggers the yelp tone, and each sounds continuously for the duration of the contact. This makes the module suitable for shift-change signals, end-of-period bells in schools, and attention tones ahead of spoken pages. The gain control adjusts the output from off up to a 0 dB reference so the alert sits at an appropriate level within the program mix. Connection is made through a removable 3-pole terminal block that simplifies wiring to relays, timers, or manual switches. Because it follows the 900 Series module format, the S-02S can be combined with microphone, line input, and signal-processing modules in the same frame.
