The Teris TS-VCT-14 is a full-size ENG camera quick release plate designed for mounting large broadcast cameras to professional fluid heads. The quick release system allows fast camera mounting and removal without tools, and the plate accepts cameras with standard 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod threads. Built from aluminum, the TS-VCT-14 handles the weight and torque of full-size ENG cameras including those fitted with large box lenses and accessories.
Product Description
Full-size ENG cameras are heavier and longer than compact cameras, and their tripod plates must provide secure fore-aft adjustment to balance the rig on the fluid head. The TS-VCT-14 is designed specifically for this application, with a plate length suited to the base dimensions of broadcast ENG camera bodies. The quick release mechanism allows the camera to be removed from the head quickly between setups and re-mounted with a positive click-lock that confirms secure attachment before the camera is released. The plate accepts both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws, covering the full range of ENG camera bodies. Aluminum construction provides the rigidity needed to prevent flex between the camera and the fluid head under dynamic pan and tilt moves. The TS-VCT-14 is a practical spare or replacement plate for productions that use Teris fluid heads with full-size ENG cameras, and it enables fast camera swaps between multiple heads on set.
