The Teris GS-2 is an adjustable locking ground spreader compatible exclusively with Teris CINE-H and CINE-M model tripods. It maintains consistent leg spread at the base of the tripod, improving lateral stability during static setups on hard, flat surfaces. Aluminum construction keeps the accessory lightweight while withstanding loads associated with heavy cinema camera rigs. For operators using any other Teris tripod model, the GS-1 ground spreader is the correct choice.
Product Description
Ground spreaders prevent leg drift on smooth floors and are a critical stability component when working with heavy cinema rigs over extended shoots. The GS-2 is engineered specifically for Teris CINE-H and CINE-M tripod legs, with geometry matched to the leg tube spacing and spread angle of those models. The spreader attaches at ground level and locks in position, holding the set leg spread angle and preventing movement on smooth surfaces. The adjustable design accommodates different leg spread positions used at varying tripod heights. Aluminum construction provides durability without adding significant weight to the overall rig. Installation is straightforward: open the tripod legs to the desired angle, position the spreader arms, and engage the locks. The GS-2 is not compatible with other Teris tripod models; the GS-1 covers all other Teris tripods, and the TS-S45 is the mid-level spreader for Teris 100mm and 150mm tripods.
