Product Overview
The Teris GS-1 is an adjustable locking ground spreader compatible with all Teris tripods except the CINE-H and CINE-M models. It prevents leg drift on flat surfaces during static camera setups by locking the leg spread angle at ground level. The aluminum construction is lightweight and durable, suitable for regular studio and field use. Operators using CINE-H or CINE-M tripods should select the GS-2 spreader instead.
Product Description
The GS-1 is the standard ground spreader for the Teris tripod range, providing leg stability on hard flat surfaces where tripod feet may otherwise migrate over time or under vibration. The spreader is adjustable to accommodate the different leg spread angles used at varying tripod heights, and a locking mechanism holds the set position securely. Aluminum construction keeps the GS-1 light and resistant to the wear conditions of regular field production. The spreader installs at floor level on the outer portion of the tripod legs and does not affect the head height or leg extension. For productions that need mid-height lateral stability, the TS-S45 mid-level spreader is the appropriate accessory for Teris 100mm and 150mm tripods. The GS-1 is the correct ground-level choice for all standard Teris ENG and broadcast tripod configurations.
