The Serv 4K accepts 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and encodes 4K HDR video for wireless distribution over Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) to mobile devices running Teradek’s video monitoring app. A 12G-SDI loop output passes the camera signal through to additional monitoring equipment or the DIT cart while simultaneously streaming to tablets and phones across the production. Unlike dedicated wireless video TX/RX kits, the Serv 4K leverages existing Wi-Fi infrastructure for multi-device distribution to unlimited connected viewers on the same network.
Teradek Core integration provides centralized management and remote configuration. The Serv 4K is compatible with Teradek’s monitoring app for iOS and Android and supports timecode and camera metadata pass-through.
