The Teradek Ranger HD Wireless Transmitter/Receiver Set (V-Mount) delivers reliable HD wireless video transmission up to 1,500 feet line of sight across the 4.9–6.0 GHz frequency band. Designed for broadcast ENG, documentary, and live event productions working in HD, this kit includes integrated V-Mount battery plates on both transmitter and receiver for professional battery-powered deployment. Compatible with Teradek Core cloud management and the Bolt Manager app.
Product Description
The Ranger HD V-Mount set transmits HD video via 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs with visually lossless compression and sub-1ms latency. V-Mount battery plates on both TX and RX units enable untethered operation on standard professional batteries. The system operates across 4.9–6.0 GHz with AES-256 encryption, RSA-1024 key exchange, and support for multiple sets operating simultaneously alongside Wi-Fi infrastructure. Camera timecode, start/stop flags, and ancillary metadata transmit wirelessly through the link. The Bolt Manager app for iOS and Android connects via Bluetooth for spectrum analysis and remote configuration.
