Product Description

The Plixus NEXT connects to the Plixus engine and adds additional network ports, extending the number of delegate units that can be connected to the system. Each NEXT unit also supports loop network topology: two NEXT units in a loop create a redundant signal path so that if a cable or device on one side of the loop fails, system traffic re-routes through the other path—maintaining connectivity to all delegate units without interruption. Multiple NEXT units can be chained to scale the network to the required size. The NEXT installs in the AV equipment rack alongside Plixus engines and power supplies and connects via Plixus network cabling.
