Unlike the AE-R + Dante (71.98.2904), this model does not include a Dante card. The AE-R is the right choice for audio-focused installations where recording is required but Dante audio networking is not—or where Dante is handled by a separate device in the signal chain.

The Plixus AE-R manages all Plixus delegate units connected to the conference network, handling microphone activation, audio routing, and system control without a dedicated PC. Its internal recording system captures the floor channel and up to three independent language channels from interpreter feeds—useful for government proceedings and multilingual meetings that require archival audio records. With 8 GB of internal storage and selectable bitrates, the AE-R can store over 100 hours of audio internally, reducing dependence on external recording infrastructure. The AE-R does not include an internal power supply; an external Plixus power supply (such as the Plixus PS 48V 21A) is required and delivered with the engine. The slim profile supports rack installation in standard AV equipment rooms alongside other Plixus infrastructure.
