Product Description

CoCon Messaging/Services adds a delegate-to-operator communication layer within the CoCon multimedia conference interface. Delegates access the messaging function from the touchscreen of their Plixus multimedia unit and send text messages or service requests that appear in the CoCon operator interface. The operator can acknowledge and respond to these messages privately without interrupting the meeting floor. This is particularly useful in government and corporate boardroom settings where delegates may need to communicate with technical staff or meeting administrators during a session—for example, to report a microphone issue, request a specific document, or notify the operator of a schedule change—without raising a point of order or disrupting the meeting.
