CoCon Intercom is a software license that activates intercom functionality between Plixus conference delegate units within a CoCon-managed conference system. CoCon Intercom extends the CoCon Discussion module with private communication capability between designated Plixus conference device positions. Intercom channels are configured in CoCon to specify which positions can communicate with each other or with the system operator, and these channels operate independently from the main conference floor channel. During a meeting, intercom communication does not appear on the speaker queue, is not broadcast over the main floor audio, and does not interfere with the active conference session. The feature is designed for formal meeting environments where operational coordination between staff, technicians, and the chairperson must occur discreetly during a live session.
