Product Overview
CoCon Fingerprint is a software module that enables biometric delegate identification via fingerprint scanning within a CoCon-managed Plixus conference system. Delegates register their fingerprints in the CoCon database; at the start of each session, they identify themselves at their seat position by scanning their fingerprint on a compatible Plixus unit with a fingerprint reader. This provides secure, positive delegate identification for sessions where verifying the identity of participants is required—such as formal votes, closed government sessions, or high-security boardroom meetings where badge or PIN identification is insufficient. CoCon Discussion is required as a prerequisite.
Product Description

CoCon Fingerprint integrates biometric identification into the CoCon delegate management workflow. Administrator configure fingerprint profiles in the CoCon database for each registered delegate. At the start of a meeting or when a delegate takes their seat, they authenticate using the fingerprint scanner on their Plixus delegate unit; CoCon matches the scan against the database and confirms the delegate's identity. This ties voting records and microphone activity to a positively identified individual rather than relying on a badge, PIN, or unverified seat assignment. For government councils, judicial bodies, and corporate boards where the integrity of the attendance record and vote attribution is critical, CoCon Fingerprint provides a hardware-backed identification layer within the Plixus conference system.
