Product Overview
The TASCAM Studiobridge is a 24-track recorder and 24-in/24-out USB audio interface designed to serve as the connection point between analog mixing consoles and digital recording workflows — either DAW-based or standalone SD card recording. It accepts and returns 24 channels of audio via DB25 connectors, preserving the full analog signal path of an existing console for tracking and mix summing without replacing the hardware. The Studiobridge is part of TASCAM's Model Series and is the dedicated interface/recorder for engineers who already own an analog console and want to add professional multitrack recording without upgrading the mixing desk.
Product Description
The Studiobridge connects to any console with DB25 analog I/O — standard on large-format analog and digital consoles — via its 24-in/24-out DB25 rear panel. Tracks recorded to the onboard SD card recorder or a connected DAW can be returned to the analog console for mix summing, combining the resolution of digital recording with the character of the analog console's output stage and summing bus. MIDI I/O on the Studiobridge allows synchronization of external gear, DAW transport control, and sequencer integration without a separate MIDI interface. The 24-track SD recorder captures sessions independently of a computer at up to 48 kHz, giving engineers a DAWless recording option for rehearsals, live tracking, and location work. Compatible DAWs include Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live, and other HUI/MCU-compatible software. The Studiobridge is available at Creation Networks.
