Product Description
The Model 16 records up to 16 tracks simultaneously to SD/SDHC/SDXC card at 24-bit/48kHz, with no computer required for standalone recording. Its USB audio interface carries 14 channels in and 14 out to a connected DAW, with HUI transport control available for session management from the console surface. Eight XLR mic inputs carry TASCAM's HDDA (High-Definition Discrete Architecture) preamps with individual phantom power, and the first two channel strips include switchable line/instrument 1/4-inch inputs for direct guitar or bass. Per-channel three-band EQ, one-knob compressors on selected channels, and onboard reverb and delay effects round out the channel processing. Four subgroups and two aux sends handle monitor and effects routing for live applications.
