The TASCAM MM-2D-X is a compact half-1U bidirectional Dante mic/line input/output converter with built-in DSP mixer, handling 2 channels of XLR analog mic/line I/O to and from a Dante network at up to 96 kHz/24-bit. Phantom power, remote gain control, and a built-in DSP matrix mixer make it a versatile two-channel Dante gateway for commercial AV installations.
Product Description
The MM-2D-X operates bidirectionally: it converts 2-channel XLR mic/line analog inputs to Dante outputs, or 2-channel Dante inputs to analog line outputs, or both simultaneously for full-duplex operation. The built-in DSP matrix mixer supports 4-channel Dante I/O for internal routing without an external DSP device. Mic preamps include +48V phantom power per channel; input gain is remotely controllable via TASCAM DCP CONNECT or Dante. Two units mount in the optional AK-RS1 half-rack shelf. Available at Creation Networks alongside the MM-2D-E and AK-RS1.
