The Camera Out sends an attenuated reference mix to the DSLR or mirrorless camera while the DR-70D simultaneously records its own high-quality 4-track files to SD/SDHC card. Camera In accepts audio from the camera for monitoring within the DR-70D's headphone output. Dual Recording mode captures each input at normal gain plus a lower safety level to protect against clipping from unexpected loud sources. Built-in compressor and limiter manage dynamics during recording.
