The TASCAM CA-XLR2d-F is the Fujifilm digital kit variant of the CA-XLR2d XLR microphone adapter, designed for Fujifilm mirrorless cameras with a digital hot shoe interface. It transmits lossless digital audio directly to compatible Fujifilm cameras via the digital hot shoe connection, bypassing the analog 3.5mm microphone input. Two XLR/TRS combo inputs with HDDA preamps deliver professional-grade low-noise preamplification with individual +48V phantom power for condenser and dynamic microphones.
Product Description
The CA-XLR2d-F was co-developed by TASCAM and FUJIFILM Corporation for direct digital integration with Fujifilm's mirrorless camera lineup. The digital hot shoe connection carries lossless digital audio to the camera without the noise, impedance challenges, or level headroom constraints of analog 3.5mm mic input paths. HDDA preamps provide wide dynamic range capture. Auto Level, Low Cut Filter, and Limiter deliver in-camera-ready audio adjustment. A 3.5mm stereo mini input provides a third source. A cold shoe top mount accommodates additional accessories, and a shock mount mechanism minimizes handling noise. For cameras without a Fujifilm digital hot shoe, the CA-XLR2d-AN provides equivalent audio quality via analog 3.5mm output. Available at Creation Networks alongside the CA-XLR2d-AN and CA-XLR2d-C.
