The TASCAM BD-MP1MK2 is a 1U rack-mount professional Blu-ray player with SD card and USB media playback for commercial AV installations in conference rooms, boardrooms, theaters, educational facilities, and public spaces. It plays Blu-ray, DVD, and CD discs as well as video, still image, and audio files from SD and USB media, with XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced analog audio outputs for integration into professional AV signal chains. RS-232C and LAN ports support control system integration; an IR remote is included.
Product Description
The BD-MP1MK2 provides professional-grade Blu-ray playback with a coaxial digital audio output supporting Dolby Audio and DTS for digital distribution systems, and an analog audio output level volume control adjustable from 0 dB to -40 dB. Power-on-Play automates playback at startup for unattended operation in lobby, signage, and waiting room deployments. The Resume function returns to the last playback position after power cycling, useful for looped presentations. An included IR remote control handles day-to-day operation; RS-232C and Ethernet LAN ports integrate with Crestron, AMX, Extron, and other control systems for automated operation and status monitoring. Front-panel SD card and rear USB ports accommodate supplementary video, image, and audio file playback from removable media. The BD-MP1MK2 is the standard HD (1080p) counterpart to the 4K UHD BD-MP4K. It is available at Creation Networks alongside the BD-MP4K for 4K requirements.
