The VX 12.2Q pairs a 12-inch (305 mm) constant-directivity PowerDual driver fitted with a Q-Centric waveguide and a separate 12-inch low-frequency driver for extended bass response and point-source phase coherence. The Q-Centric waveguide enables tighter vertical or horizontal pattern control, producing a precise 75-degree horizontal by 40-degree vertical dispersion for predictable coverage and forward projection. The loudspeaker can run as a passive system or be configured for bi-amp operation, letting integrators optimize amplifier headroom across the low and high sections. It is well suited to front-of-house, floor monitor and side-fill duties in high-SPL environments. The vented, internally braced plywood enclosure uses 15 mm panels with an 18 mm front baffle, finished in hard-wearing semi-matt black paint with a powder-coated perforated steel grille.
