The CMS 1201SW back can is an acoustically enhanced zinc-plated steel enclosure designed for pre-installation of the CMS 1201SW subwoofer in newly constructed, non-suspended and suspended ceilings. The back can and containment can be installed before the ceiling is completed, allowing the first-fix work to proceed independently of final finishing. Its internally damped 79-litre (2.8 cubic feet) capacity provides the enclosure volume needed for exceptional low-frequency performance. Multiple installation options give integrators flexibility on site: steel mounting lugs accept a Unistrut roof-rail system, four top-mounted eye bolts allow suspension, and a single-point hang is supported via M10 or 3/8-inch UNC threaded rod. The time-saving design enables one-person speaker installation, significantly reducing the time required for project finalisation. Phoenix-type connectors are provided for input and link output.
