Product Description

The xIO XLR 2x2 mounts in a standard US single-gang electrical back box and presents a black Decora faceplate with two female XLR input connectors and two male XLR output connectors. Microphones, instruments, or line-level sources connect to the inputs and are converted to Dante audio streams for delivery to the room's DSP over a single Cat cable. Simultaneously, audio from the DSP is delivered to the XLR outputs for connection to local powered speakers, amplifiers, or monitors at the wall position. This makes the xIO XLR 2x2 the most capable of the xIO wall plate family for a stage or podium position that must handle both microphone capture and local audio return. All four channels are configured independently within Symetrix Composer. W-Series wall controllers (W1–W4) can provide local room-level volume and mute control.
