Product Overview
The Symetrix 80-0176 W4 is a four-function wall controller designed for use with Symetrix xIO wall plate Dante endpoints. Providing dedicated controls for volume level, source selection, do-not-disturb (DND), and microphone mute in a single-gang US Decora form factor, the W4 gives room occupants direct, intuitive access to the four most common room audio functions. It connects to the companion xIO endpoint via Cat cable and is configured within Symetrix Composer. Available in black finish.
Product Description
The W4 Black mounts in a standard US single-gang Decora back box adjacent to or near the xIO wall plate endpoint it controls. Cat cable connects the W4 to the xIO device, carrying both power and control data. The four dedicated controls — volume, source, DND, and mic mute — respond immediately to user input, routing control commands to the xIO endpoint and through Dante to the Symetrix DSP. The W4 is the most fully featured of the W-Series controllers. For fewer functions, the W3, W2, or W1 are available.
