The Symetrix 80-0093 ARC-PSe is a dedicated power supply for Symetrix ARC wall panel controllers. It provides DC power and RS-485 bus connectivity to multiple ARC panels (ARC-2e, ARC-3, ARC-K1e, ARC-SW4e, and ARC-EX4e) in installations where the onboard power from the Symetrix DSP is insufficient for the number of panels deployed or the length of the RS-485 cable run. The ARC-PSe installs in an equipment rack and connects to the RS-485 bus serving the ARC wall panels.

Product Description

In a standard Symetrix ARC installation, the DSP powers the ARC panels via the RS-485 bus. However, installations with a large number of ARC panels, long RS-485 cable runs, or panels with high LED brightness — such as the ARC-K1e with its eight-segment LED stack — may require supplemental power. The ARC-PSe provides that supplemental power, allowing more panels to be connected per RS-485 bus and enabling longer wiring runs without voltage drop issues. It installs in a 1U rack position and is connected in line with the RS-485 bus. Compatible with all Symetrix ARC-series wall panels and programmed/configured in Symetrix Composer as part of the installation’s DSP site file.
