Unlike the open-architecture Prism, EDGE, and Radius NX platforms, the Jupiter 8 uses a turn-key application model: the integrator selects one of 85 pre-built applications in Symetrix Composer to define the signal processing topology, which can then be customized with parameter adjustments rather than building a signal chain from scratch. This approach significantly reduces programming time for standard applications. The Jupiter 8 supports Symetrix ARC wall panels and can generate SymVue Windows virtual GUI interfaces for operator control. Control options include RS-485 for ARC panels and Ethernet for network control. Multiple Jupiter units can be linked for larger systems. For installations requiring PSU replacement or redundancy, the Jupiter/Zone Mix PSU (12-0002) is available separately.
