SurgeX ESP-VP-10VR-168 – BaseVertical PDU, 8-Outlet, 10 ft Cord, 12...
What is the SurgeX ESP-VP-10VR-168?
The SurgeX ESP-VP-10VR-168 is a BaseVertical 0U power distribution unit with 8 outlets, single-stage surge protection and a 10-foot cord, rated 120V/16A. It mounts vertically in a rack to distribute power without spending rack units.
How does the SurgeX ESP-VP-10VR-168 work?
Base Series vertical PDUs mount along the rear rail and give each device in the rack a short, direct power connection. The 16A rating suits racks with heavier loads such as amplifiers. They provide single-stage surge protection, not IP control. When outlet switching or monitoring is needed, step up to the SurgeX Vertical Series+ SX-VS-1624.
What are the key features of the SurgeX ESP-VP-10VR-168?
- 16A rating — Headroom for heavier rack loads.
- 8 outlets — Power for eight rack devices.
- 0U vertical mount — Saves rack units by mounting on the rail.
- 10 ft cord — Reaches floor or ceiling receptacles.
