Rather than running speaker cable across a room, the Sonance Wireless Transmitter sends audio to a compatible Impact Series subwoofer over a tri-band 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz, and 5.8GHz wireless connection, supporting uncompressed audio up to 192kHz/24-bit for studio-quality transmission. Effective range is roughly 30 feet, giving integrators freedom to place the i8, i10, or i12 subwoofer wherever it performs best acoustically rather than wherever cable can reach. Pairing between the transmitter and the subwoofer's built-in receiver is a simple two-button process, minimizing setup time on install day. The tri-band design helps maintain a stable connection in homes with dense Wi-Fi traffic. This transmitter is a companion accessory and does not include a subwoofer; it is intended for use with an existing or newly purchased Impact Series i8, i10, or i12.
