The SoundTube IPD4-CM52-BGM-II is a Dante®-enabled, IP-addressable 5.25-inch coaxial in-ceiling speaker from the STNet IP-Addressable and Dante Series. Designed as the network hub of a four-speaker cluster, this master speaker provides both audio output and distributed power to connect and drive up to three additional standard CM52-BGM in-ceiling speakers from a single PoE or PoE+ network connection, significantly reducing wiring complexity in commercial background music installations. Low-latency digital audio, power, and control are all delivered over standard category cable. The speaker is powered via PoE or PoE+ switch (note: not compatible with PoE++ — 30 W PoE max, or 40 W with STNet Switch II), or via a 24 V DC barrel connector for non-PoE applications. Full Product Description

The IPD4-CM52-BGM-II incorporates a 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 0.75-inch silk dome tweeter, with SoundTube's BroadBeam Ring™ technology and a tuned port on the baffle providing smooth off-axis performance and bass response down to 65 Hz (−10 dB). The crossover frequency is 5.0 kHz with 12 dB/octave second-order networks. Maximum SPL is 93 dB at 40 W. Configuration and zoning are handled entirely via software through the STNet Control Center. The SpeedWing™ constant-tension fixed-wing mounting system accommodates ceiling thicknesses from 0.035 inch to 2.38 inches. Included accessories are a 6-pin Euroblock, conduit clamp, cover plate, paintable white steel grille, and paint mask. The speaker is certified CE, UL2043, UL60065, and ETL-C/US.
