The Soundcraft Ui12 is a 12-input remote-controlled digital mixer that operates entirely through a web browser — no physical faders, no proprietary app required. Any iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, or Linux device connected over Wi-Fi or Ethernet can serve as the mixing surface, making the Ui12 a practical solution for conference rooms, boardrooms, small houses of worship, and corporate meeting spaces where traditional console placement is not ideal. Like its larger sibling the Ui16, it carries HARMAN's integrated signal processing from dbx, DigiTech, and Lexicon. The compact stagebox-format chassis measures 320mm in length, making it easy to mount at stage level or within a rack.

The Ui12 provides 4 XLR combo mic/line inputs, 4 XLR mic inputs, and 2 Hi-Z instrument inputs as its core source connections. A stereo RCA line input and 2-channel USB media player expand the input complement. On the output side, the Ui12 has 2 balanced XLR aux outputs, balanced stereo XLR and 1/4" main outputs, and a 1/4" headphone output. All outputs include 31-band graphic EQ, compressor, and noise gate.

Input channel processing includes 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser, and noise gate. Three dedicated Lexicon FX buses handle reverb, delay, and chorus effects. The dbx AFS2 automatic feedback suppression system works in real time, and DigiTech amp modeling is available for instrument inputs. All processing parameters are controlled and recalled through the web interface with no physical controls required.

Up to 10 control devices can connect simultaneously, allowing performers to manage their own monitor mixes independently while an engineer manages the main mix. The Show/Snapshot recall system saves complete mixer states for quick transitions between events or presenters. Security lockout restricts device access to specific mixes or functions, which is useful in shared corporate and educational environments.
