Product Description

Standard USB 3.2 cabling is limited to a few meters, which restricts where a USB camera can be installed relative to the codec or room PC. The RCU3SL-B10 solves this commercial AV integration problem by linking the RCU3SL-HE head-end module at the rack to the RCU3SL-CE camera-end module at the camera over one shielded CAT cable. The single SCTLink connection carries USB 3.2 video up to 4K@30, UVC and RS-232 VISCA camera control, and 12V or 5V camera power up to 3A, eliminating the need for a local outlet at the camera position. The camera-end module provides a locking USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 connector with USB Power Delivery (5V/9V/12V at 3A or 15V at 2.4A, 36W maximum) for devices that power over USB-C. Installation is plug and play with no programming required, and the platform passes manufacturer firmware updates through from codec to camera.
