Product Description

Traditional PTZ camera installations require separate runs for HDMI video, control, and a local power outlet at the camera position. The RC5+UNI replaces all of that with one integrator-supplied CAT cable (SCTLink) between the RC5+ HE head-end module at the rack and the RC5+ CE camera-end module at the camera. The head end injects 66W PoE++ class power down the link, so no factory camera power supply or electrical outlet is required at the camera location. Video is carried as uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI, making the kit suitable for broadcast studios and high-end conference spaces where compression artifacts are unacceptable. IP/Ethernet pass-through provides camera control, streaming, and manufacturer firmware updates from the codec or control system to the camera. The kit is plug and play with no programming required, and it ships with the head-end and camera-end HDMI and UTP connection cables plus the WPS-48 power supply. It is an ideal extension solution for the Cisco Room Vision PTZ and Cisco PTZ 4K cameras as well as Sony BRC/SRG, Panasonic AW series, and Canon CR-N series cameras in commercial AV installations.
