Panasonic professional PTZ cameras are deployed everywhere from huddle rooms to broadcast studios, and they frequently need to sit much farther from the codec or switcher than native HDMI cabling allows. The RC5-P40 solves the distance problem with a camera-end RC5-CE module and a head-end RC5-HE module connected by one installer-supplied CAT cable up to 100 meters (328 ft). The kit ships with the Panasonic-specific PPC-014-0.3M DC power camera cable plus HDMI and UTP camera and head-end cables and a WPS-12 power supply, so the camera receives 12V power directly through the link — no outlet needed at the camera position. Supported Panasonic cameras include the AW-HE20, AW-UE20, AW-UE30, AW-HE38H, AW-HN38H, AW-HE40, AW-HN40H, AW-HE42, AW-UE50, AW-HE60, AW-UE70, AW-UN70, AW-UE80, and AW-UE100.
