Product Overview

The Sony VPL-FHZ101L/W is a 10,000-lumen WUXGA laser 3LCD installation projector for large venues, in a white finish. It pairs high brightness with a 20,000-hour laser light source, Reality Creation processing, an industry-leading lens shift range, and an interchangeable-lens system. With native WUXGA resolution and broad connectivity, it suits conference halls, lecture theaters, galleries, museums, and other large spaces. This is the white, no-lens model.

Product Description

The VPL-FHZ101L/W is the white version of Sony's FHZ101L and shares its full specification. It uses a 3LCD laser system at native WUXGA (1920 x 1200, 16:10) resolution and outputs 10,000 lumens, enough for big-screen presentations with presence even in brightly lit rooms. Sony's super-resolution Reality Creation enhances lower-resolution sources without adding noise, and Intelligent Setting presets optimize brightness, cooling, and color for the room. The laser diode light source runs up to 20,000 hours with no lamp replacement. An industry-leading lens shift range and a wide choice of interchangeable lenses (sold separately) give installation flexibility in high-ceiling halls and tight spaces; the VPLL-Z4107 short-throw lens suits positioning the projector close to the screen to avoid ceiling-mounted obstructions. A quick-release bayonet mount simplifies lens exchange. Inputs include HDMI, DVI, and USB, and the projector supports front and ceiling projection. Rated power consumption is 840 W. The white finish is the only difference from the VPL-FHZ101L/B.

Key Features

  • White finish — Same projector as the FHZ101L/B in a white enclosure for discreet ceiling mounting.

  • Laser light source, 20,000 hours — Laser diode with no lamp replacement and reduced maintenance.
  • Reality Creation — Super-resolution processing enhances clarity without added noise.
  • Industry-leading lens shift — Wide shift range for flexible placement, including high-ceiling rooms.
  • Interchangeable lenses — Quick-release bayonet mount; VPLL-Z4107 short-throw option (lenses sold separately).
