The Sonance VC60SIM is an impedance-matching slider volume control for multi-room and distributed commercial audio systems. It lets a single amplifier drive multiple pairs of speakers while a sliding control sets the listening level at the wall. Adjustable impedance jumpers magnify load by 1x, 2x, 4x, or 8x, matching up to eight pairs of speakers to one amplifier. The unit installs in a standard wall box and finishes with the included white Decora-style plate.
Product Description
This Sonance impedance-matching volume control gives integrators local level control without overloading the source amplifier. The Decora-style slider provides silent switch action across 12 stepped positions, with up to 42 dB of maximum attenuation for fine listening adjustment. Adjustable impedance jumpers deliver 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x impedance magnification, allowing as many as eight pairs of speakers to share a single amplifier without dropping below safe load. The control handles a maximum of 60W per channel RMS, suiting it to background and foreground commercial zones. A 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response preserves full-range reproduction across the audio band. Quick-disconnect screw terminals accept up to 14-gauge wire for fast, secure termination. The unit is UL-listed to comply with most local building codes. The white Decora plate blends into interior finishes for a clean wall appearance.
