The Sonance Medium Rectangle Masonry Bracket provides a mounting surface in brick walls so select Sonance speakers can be installed using the Roto-Lock mounting system. It enables in-wall speaker installation in walls constructed from brick and finished with plaster. The durable ABS bracket ships as a 2-pack in black.
Product Description
Brick-and-plaster wall assemblies do not accommodate standard dog-ear mounting clamps, which require a drywall thickness to grip. The Sonance Medium Rectangle Masonry Bracket solves this by creating a defined surface within the masonry opening that the Roto-Lock mounting system can engage. This lets integrators install select Sonance speakers into walls built from brick and finished with plaster without compromising the flush in-wall appearance. The bracket is molded from durable ABS for rigidity and long service life in the wall cavity. It is compatible with Visual Performance models VP62, VP66, VP68, VP66 SST, and VP66 TL, plus Visual Experience models VX62, VX66, and VX66 SST. Sold as a 2-pack, it covers a pair of speaker locations and provides a spare on smaller jobs. This bracket is the practical specification when masonry construction would otherwise prevent a clean in-wall speaker install.
