The Sonance Medium Rectangle Acoustic Enclosure is a back box for select Visual Performance Series 6.5" rectangle speakers. It contains sound at the rear of the speaker to reduce spillover into adjacent spaces and supports both new construction and room upgrades. The solid MDF cabinet holds the speaker securely. This enclosure ships as a single unit (Each) in unfinished wood.

Product Description

Acoustic enclosures are routinely specified in commercial installs to keep audio within the intended room and protect adjacent spaces from bleed. The Sonance Medium Rectangle Acoustic Enclosure provides this containment for select 6.5" Visual Performance rectangle speakers by sealing the rear of the driver. The solid MDF construction is rigid, which holds the speaker firmly in place and contributes to consistent bass response. Beyond containment, the sealed cabinet gives the speaker a defined rear volume rather than venting into an uncontrolled wall cavity. The enclosure is engineered for both new construction and room upgrades, so integrators can specify it on ground-up projects and retrofits alike. It is compatible with Visual Performance models VP62, VP66, VP68, VP66 TL, and VP66 SST, plus Visual Experience models VX62, VX66, and VX66 SST. The unfinished wood surface can be finished to coordinate with the install environment where required. Sold individually, it lets you match enclosure quantity to the speaker count on a project.
