The Sonance IPORT CONNECT PoE+ Network Adapter upgrades a CONNECT PRO BaseStation or WallStation to hardwired data and PoE+ power over a single Cat 5 cable. It is built for AV and IT teams that need iPad room-control panels to stay charged and network-connected without relying on Wi-Fi. The adapter (model 72101) is the supported PoE+ upgrade path for CONNECT PRO iPad stations.
Product Description
This adapter converts a CONNECT PRO BaseStation or WallStation deployment to a single-cable, hardwired installation. By delivering both data and power over PoE+ on one Cat 5 run, it gives integrators a direct network connection that eliminates Wi-Fi dropout and keeps iPad charged and online whenever it is attached to a CONNECT PRO station. This matters in conference rooms, control panels, and check-in stations where uptime and a stable network path are required. The adapter is designed specifically for the CONNECT PRO BaseStation and WallStation. Note that the hardwired network connection is not compatible with the 72300 or 72301 CONNECT PRO Case, or with iPads that use Lightning connectors. Confirm your iPad uses a USB-C connector and that your station is a CONNECT PRO unit before specifying this adapter.
