The IPORT CONNECT PoE+ Injector supplies PoE+ (802.3at) power to IPORT PoE+ adapters where a PoE+ switch is not available. It delivers power over a standard Ethernet run so an IPORT mount and its 72101 adapter stay continuously powered. The injector ships with an IEC C13 to Type-A adapter cable and works with any IEC C13 cable for international compatibility. It is a single-port power source for IPORT CONNECT iPad installations.
Product Description
This IPORT CONNECT PoE+ Injector lets integrators power an IPORT PoE+ adapter without a dedicated PoE+ network switch. Supplying PoE+ at the 802.3at standard, it provides the higher power budget that the IPORT PoE+ adapters require to run a docked iPad reliably. The injector inserts power onto a standard Ethernet cable run between a network connection and the IPORT mount, so a single cable carries both data and power to the iPad. It ships with an IEC C13 to Type-A adapter cable for North American outlets and accepts any IEC C13 cable, making it suitable for international deployments. This flexibility is useful in retrofit and small-scale installations where adding PoE+ switching is impractical.
