Product Overview

The Sonance DSP 2-150 MKIII is a rack-mount DSP amplifier that delivers two channels of audiophile-grade Class-D power with onboard digital signal processing for room correction. It is built for the equipment rack in commercial installations, optimizing speaker performance and compensating for the acoustic properties of each space. With IP and IR control, it integrates into a control system for centralized management of distributed audio zones. The compact half-rack-width chassis gives integrators ample power in minimal rack space.

Product Description

The DSP 2-150 MKIII is the finishing component for a permanently installed audio system, combining power amplification with Sonance digital signal processing in a single rack unit. Its high-resolution 24-bit / 96 kHz DAC is capable of 4608 KBPS audio playback, and the DSP engine optimizes speaker output while correcting for room acoustics. The Class-D amplifier section is rated and certified at 8 and 4 ohms and is stable to 2 ohms, delivering 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms with both channels driven. When more output is required, the two channels can be bridged for 473 watts into 8 ohms. The Class-D design is 93 percent efficient, meeting EU power-saving standards while delivering full power with minimal heat and current draw. Integrators control the amplifier over IP or IR, and a full array of connectivity, including line inputs and loop outputs, audio and voltage triggers, and an Ethernet jack, supports flexible installation. Terminal blocks accept up to 12 AWG speaker cable for longer runs and higher performance. The chassis occupies 1U at half rack width, and rack ears and removable feet are included for either rack or shelf mounting. The unit is also Digital Input Module compatible for expanded source options, and it carries worldwide safety certifications including TUV to UL standards, CE, RCM, C-Tick, RoHS, and WEEE. It pairs naturally with Sonance architectural and distributed speakers, which are listed in the Sonance commercial audio collection. For boardrooms, conference rooms, and training rooms, the DSP 2-150 MKIII provides the power and room tuning needed for clear, consistent audio.
