The SMART Projection Audio System SBA-L is a matched pair of 14 W RMS powered speakers designed for use with front-projection SMART Board interactive whiteboard systems that include an extended control panel (ECP) with a volume control. The light gray speaker pair mounts directly to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard system and connects to the projector via dual RCA jacks, providing audio reinforcement for rooms up to 1,000 sq. ft. with up to 30 occupants. Compatible with SMART UF70 and similar projector-based SMART Board M600 series systems.
Product Description
The SBA-L is the audio component for SMART Board front-projection systems that include an extended control panel — specifically the M600 series interactive whiteboard systems paired with compatible SMART projectors such as the UF70. In these systems, the projector provides the audio output via RCA, and the SBA-L connects to those RCA jacks on the bottom of the active (right) speaker. The light gray color (approximately PANTONE Cool Gray 4C) is matched to the SMART UF70 projector and the M600 series whiteboard to provide a visually unified installation. The speakers attach directly to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard system using the included mounting brackets, keeping them aligned with the board and reducing the need for separate wall-penetrating speaker mounts. Audio performance matches the SBA-100 — 14 W RMS combined, 50 Hz to 20 kHz (±6 dB), suitable for reinforcing speech and multimedia audio in standard meeting and classroom rooms. The right speaker is active; the left is passive, connected via the included 16 AWG Molex cable with sufficient routing slack for a clean installation. Volume is controlled through the ECP's volume control or the connected computer's digital volume settings. A universal switching power supply (100–240 V AC) is included. The SBA-L is a legacy audio solution for existing M600 series front-projection SMART Board systems and is not designed for use with flat panel interactive displays.
