Product Description
The UAMS mute switch attaches to compatible Shure wireless handheld transmitters and provides on-demand muting with over 50 dB of attenuation — ensuring complete audio cutoff without audible switching artifacts. The recessed switch design prevents accidental activation during handling, which is particularly important in government, broadcast, and commercial AV settings where unintended muting can disrupt a live presentation or program feed. Because the unit is entirely passive, it has no effect on transmitter battery life, and it adds no RF or circuitry complexity to the wireless signal chain. The black (BK) finish blends with standard Shure wireless handheld transmitter housings.
