The UA850 bridges this separation with 50 feet of low-loss 50 Ω coaxial cable, terminated with BNC connectors at both ends for direct connection to Shure receivers and antenna distribution systems. RG8X/U-type construction balances flexibility with low signal loss per foot, making it appropriate for typical commercial UHF antenna runs. Multiple UA850 cables can be used in systems with antenna distribution units such as the Shure UA845UWB Antenna Distribution System. The cable is rated for frequencies below 1 GHz and should not be used for 1.2 GHz+ band systems.
