Designed for commercial AV installations where rack-mounted receivers need their antennas positioned at the front of the rack for improved line-of-sight RF coverage toward the performance or presentation area, the UA440 eliminates the need for rear-panel antenna placement and the associated RF signal loss from routing antennas around the rack enclosure.

When Shure wireless receivers are installed in enclosed AV equipment racks, positioning antennas at the rear of the rack—away from the primary RF transmission zone—can significantly degrade wireless system performance due to rack enclosure shielding and increased distance from transmitters. The UA440 front-mount kit provides a clean solution by allowing receiver antennas to be attached to a front-panel bracket on the same rack, pointing toward the room and maintaining direct line-of-sight to wireless transmitters without requiring separate remote antenna cables or external antenna stands. The kit includes four 2-foot BNC-to-BNC coaxial cables connecting the front-mounted antenna ports to the receiver antenna inputs, and four bulkhead adapters for secure front-panel attachment.
