The Shure SM63 is a professional omnidirectional dynamic microphone engineered for high-quality handheld or stand-mounted use in broadcast, ENG, interview, and presentation applications. Its omnidirectional polar pattern provides uniform pickup from all directions, making it ideal for situations where the talker may move or where ambient sound needs to be captured naturally. The microphone features a smooth, extended frequency response optimized for voice, with excellent handling noise rejection and low susceptibility to wind and breath sounds.
Built with a rugged, low-mass diaphragm and a durable metal construction, the SM63 is designed to withstand the demands of field and studio work. The champagne finish reduces visual distraction on camera, and the included slip-on windscreen helps control plosives and wind noise. It requires no external power and connects via a standard XLR connector.
