The Shure SM137-LC is a cardioid condenser instrument microphone engineered for accurate, natural sound reproduction in both live and studio applications. It features a thin diaphragm and transformerless preamplifier for precise, detailed capture with low self-noise and excellent transient response. The uniform cardioid polar pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection, minimizing bleed from other instruments and reducing feedback risk on stage.
With its flat frequency response and ability to handle high sound pressure levels, the SM137 is ideal for a wide range of acoustic instruments, including acoustic guitars, drums, percussion, brass, woodwinds, and piano.
