The Shure SBC-DC is a DC power adapter insert that replaces the battery inside any SB900-compatible bodypack transmitter or receiver, enabling continuous mains-powered operation via a Shure PS43 power supply (sold separately). For commercial AV applications where a wireless bodypack must operate for extended periods without battery changes—such as a fixed lavalier mic at a podium, a permanently installed in-ear monitor receiver, or a broadcast talent position—the SBC-DC eliminates battery management entirely and provides uninterrupted power from a standard DC supply.

Product Description

The SBC-DC accepts 8 to 20 VDC input and converts it to 3 VDC output, matching the operating voltage of SB900-compatible bodypack units. It is compatible with the P10R, P10R+, P9RA, P9RA+, UR5, ULXD1, AD1, and QLXD1 bodypacks. Installation requires inserting the adapter into the battery compartment in place of the SB900-series battery, then routing the DC cable to the PS43 power supply. All installation hardware is included: DC adapter, cable adapter, 2 T6 adapter screws, and T6 L-wrench.
